WoW Hunter Guide

Hi, this is MikemanX,

If you’re here searching for a WoW Hunter Guide, chances are that you’re frustrated with the speed at which you’re leveling your character and you just want a guide that will straight up show you how to get the job done quickly and effectively.  The problem is, there is so much conflicting information out there that such a simple task becomes a challenging task that saps all your energy and motivation to even play the game.

After I went through all that myself, I decided to log what worked best for me to save others the trouble, you’ll find that information below…

Note: This is a VERY basic WoW Hunter Guide, Click Here To See What I Used To Level My Hunter To Level 80 In Less Than 1 Weeks Time >>

First of all, if you’re looking for a Hunter Leveling Spec, it’s best you follow one which focuses on beast mastery, such as this one:

Beast Mastery Talents

Endurance Training - 5/5
Focused Fire - 2/2
Thick Hide - 3/3
Aspect Mastery - 1/1
Unleashed Fury - 5/5
Improved Mend Pet - 1/2
Ferocity - 5/5
Spirit Bond - 2/2
Intimidation - 1/1
Bestial Discipline - 2/2
Frenzy - 3/5
Ferocious Inspiration - 3/3
Bestial Wrath - 1/1
Catlike Reflexes - 3/3
Serpent’s Swiftness - 5/5
Longevity - 3/3
The Beast Within - 1/1
Cobra Strikes - 2/3
Kindred Spirits - 5/5
Beast Mastery - 1/1

Marksmanship Talents

Lethal Shots - 5/5
Careful Aim - 3/3
Mortal Shots - 2/5
Go For The Throat - 2/2

Survival Talents

Improved Tracking 5/5

Now that we have an understanding of where to put our points, let’s look at how to handle combat, it generally will go like this:

1.    Cast Aspect of the Beast to boost pet damage and agro
2.    Cast Hunter’s Mark on enemy to increase ranged damage
3.    Use Concussive Shot to slow the enemy
4.    Send in pet
5.    Use Rapid Fire to up the speed at which you attack
6.    If needed use Freeze Trap
7.    If things get crazy or you need to drop agro use Feign Death

Now after acquiring all this information myself, I felt like I had everything down so I began leveling a Hunter…I had a good deal of success too, that was until levels 15-20 when I realized things were not going as planned anymore…

I was leveling up soOOO SLOW!

I couldn’t understand why this was happening to me, I was following this WoW Hunter Guide to a “T”.  Frustrated, I spoke to a fellow guild mate of mine who is an avid power leveler.  He mentioned that the WoW Hunter Guide above was not enough to power level, that I needed something more in depth.  He then mentioned that he had been using the Team iDemise Leveling Guide and that he had used it exclusively to level up all his characters.  So after that talk I went on the net to look this up.

What Is The Team iDemise  Leveling Guide?

Upon researching this WoW Hunter Guide, I realized that it was an in-game add-on that ran within World of Warcraft.  What it does is it places a giant green arrow in front of your hunter which then points you to quests to take, enemies to kill and where and when to turn those quests in.  It basically shows you the optimal path to take to maximize your leveling efficiency.

There is even a written dialogue which shows you the series of quests you need to take, so you may see something like:

Kill 5 Spore Harvesters in the Borean Tundra for “Vermin Extermination” at (42,23)
Obtain 15 Tempest Motes from Enraged Tempests for “Motes of the Enraged” at (14,23)
Turn in the “Vermin Extermination” Quest to Scout Tungok

Then all you do is follow what’s laid out for you and you’re leveling speed will be substantially higher.  Now despite being impressed with how much more efficient I was, it wasn’t perfect, here were some issues I had:

CONS:

  • They used to give everyone an HTML version of this WoW Hunter Guide, however they have since removed it and only offer the in-game version.
  • They should have more videos showing how to do the most difficult quests as well as more class specific leveling info.

PROS:

  • There is a map mod as well which when you open your mini-map, shows you visually what you need to do next on the map.  This works well with the written dialogue box.
  • You also have the giant green arrow to follow which means you don’t have to think as much when leveling.
  • You won’t get in trouble for owning this, it’s not a hack or a cheat.
  • You can use this as a WoW Hunter Guide or as a guide for any other class.
  • You get updates to this software for life as well as access to the member’s only forum.
  • You get a 60 day money back guarantee.

Final Thoughts:

All in all, I was thoroughly impressed by the end results I obtained from using this…if you’re tired of leveling slow and want to save yourself a lot of time and frustration, this is something you should look into further.

I have been using it for not just my Hunter but also my other characters.  Each time I’ve used it it’s taken me somewhere between 7-10 in-game days to reach level 80, which in my case is more like 10x faster.  It’s let me play other classes I wouldn’t have otherwise, which is also cool.
